Hayden has always loved bicycles. It all started with the red Radio Flyer tricycle Grandma and Grandpa Hendricks gave him when he was only a year old. He wasn't even able to balance on the bike then, but has put millions of miles on it since. Lately Hayden and Yarra have been fighting over the bike as Yarra is growing as well. We decided to try Hayden on a bigger bike. So, this morning Butch had to go to town to have a tire fixed and had time to stop by the bicycle store. Much to Hayden's delight he came home with a shiny new big boy bike! Hayden wasn't too sure about it at first, but when he learned it was for him he was excited to give it a try. With training wheels firmly attached Hayden is pedaling his way around the carport. He has gotten the hang of it very quickly and is almost ready to take on the gravel.
Hayden stopping for a quick picture as he learns to maneuver the new bike.
