Crocodylus Park

While we were making the rounds to the tourist places, we stopped at Crocodylus Park in Darwin. It is a conservation and educational tourist park. Both Butch and I and Mom and Dad found it very informational. We enjoyed a feeding demonstration with both crocodiles in a large pond and in smaller breeding enclosures. They had numerous other animals such as buffalo, kangaroos, many birds, turtles, monkeys and even tiger. The highlight of the park was being able to hold baby crocodiles. They are have very soft skin and were very placid. The crocodile Butch was holding had such a wonderful time he left Butch a present.....poo on Butch's shirt!

Yarra and Hayden posing with the crocodile. Hayden loved the crocs, but Yarra was quite scared. She refused to even touch them.

Grandma, Hayden, Papa and Yarra getting friendly with the little crocs.

An attempt at a family picture with the crocs. Yarra was just too scared and wasn't willing to cooperate.

One of the large crocodiles taking the meat off the string while being fed. The snap that the large jaws make is terrifying.
Keep checking back for more fun pictures of the sites we saw while Grandma and Papa visited!
