Yesterday we took the day and attended the Katherine Horse Races. I had never been to the races before, so we packed a few things and off we went. There were many things to do, with people dressed in various types of outfits, hats and suits. We found a nice spot in the shade and waited for the horses to run. The lines were a bit long and not real kid friendly, so we skipped on the betting this go around. But a fun day was had by all.

Their OFF.....looks like our favorite is in the lead. Not that we know how to pick them. The kids picked their favorite more on the color of the jockey's uniform than the horse. I am not sure that this method would be good for betting.
