Thank You Veterans!!

This is Hayden and Koda wearing some funny looking crash helmets! Actually, the helmets are caps that you are supposed to wear when you highlight your hair. Lyndal and I highlighted each other's hair over the weekend. They boys found it very funny to wear the hats as they played outside. Just don't tell Dad!

Here the kids are after having Ramon Noodles for lunch. Of coarse they make a mess and the easiest way to clean up the mess is to let the dog it. I know it is being lazy, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. Anyway, the kids were trying to clean up the noodles before the dog got them.
And just Yarra a cute pic of Yarra.

Thank you to all of you that have served any contry. Today is Rememberance Day here in Australia, but holds the same value as Veteran's Day. There are many, many brave men and women that have sacraficed for their contry and what it stands for. A BIG THANK YOU to all of them! I have become so much more aware of the veteran population since working at the VA Black Hills. At times the veterans are a forgotten population, please remember to wear your poppies and keep them in your prayers.

On a lighter note, this week has found us continuing to wait for the customs clearance to open our shipping container. At times these government entitites are a bit slow! The kids are doing well. Hayden is a chatter box. He understands everything and is able to put three to five words together to make a sentence. He remains a bit shy around strange people, but at home he talks up a storm. Yarra is also starting to talk. She is repeating sounds and words. She has repeated words like walk, go, and of coarse NO! I am sure in no time at all they will both be chattering and the house will become very noisy. Not that it isn't already.
